Aziz Abdulkarim

Aziz Hanna Abdulkarim, age 83, of Orland Park, passed away on August 1, 2025.

Aziz was the beloved husband of 62 years of Vioulit; dear father of Salam (Ziad) Abdulkarim of Syria, Noor Said of Sweden, Bahaa (John) Abou-Assaly of Canada, Ghada (Elias B.) Bourjas of Oak Lawn, Nada (Elias S.) Bourjas of Oak Lawn, Hanna Abdulkarim (Caroline Mesaf) of Palos Park, Fred (Omaima) Abdulkarim Joshua of Palos Park; grandfather of 21; great-grandfather of 21; dear brother of Yousef Abdulkarim of Germany, Karim Abdulkarim of Australia, George Abdulkarim of Australia; fond brother-in-law of Abdelahad Abdelahad of Syria; fond uncle and great-uncle of many.

Aziz lived in Orland Park for 23 years. He was born in Syria.

Aziz was retired and was a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church in Lombard.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, 950 N Grace St., Lombard, IL 60148.
