Austin Mauldin Jr.
Austin Odell Mauldin Jr., age 81, of Fort Mill, SC, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, peacefully at home.
The family will be hosting a private celebration of life that will be held at a later date.
Born in Sheffield, AL, Austin was the son of the late Austin Odell Mauldin Sr. and Marie Lucille Hall Mauldin. He owned and operated his own business, National Training Consultants for over 30 years. Austin is an 82nd Airborne Division U.S. Army veteran, serving 6 years active duty. Following retirement, he was an avid golfer, winning two member/ guest golf tournaments at Piper Glen. He also loved being on the water and going boating on his 34 ft Sea Ray that he named after his dog Homer. He loved telling jokes and stories to his neighbors and friends. Most importantly to Austin, was spending time with his loving wife of 33 years Laura Elizabeth Mauldin. Austin led a full life and had no regrets. He will be missed dearly.
