Arthur Wickham Obituary Arthur T. “Art” Wickham Sr., 82, of Buffalo passed away Wednesday (May 7, 2014) at his home.

He was born October 26, 1931 in Caldwell and was the son of the late Dock F. and Martha M. (Hupp) Wickham.

Art retired from construction and was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a lifetime member of Buffalo VFW #8040 and Big John’s Sportsman Club. He enjoyed gardening, spending time with his grandchildren, drinking beer and playing poker.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Wickham whom he married October 20, 1952 and passed away June 16, 2003; one son Art “Crow” Wickham; one sister Geneva Stanford; three brothers, Jerry, Samuel and Dennis.

He is survived by one daughter Joyce “Darlene” Bates of Buffalo; three grandchildren, James (Kyla Edgell) Bates Jr. of Norwich, Jodi (James Egnot) Edgell of Pleasant City and Jason Bates of Buffalo; ten great grandchildren, Jimmy, Tyler, Brandyn, Mikael, Kayla, Maryssa, Bryanna, Tanner, Isabelle and Madison; three great great grandchildren, Maddalyn, Zyler and Jaxin; several nieces and nephews; one son-in-law James Bates Sr. of Applecreek and special friend Susie Warehime of Buffalo.

Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Senecaville. Military services will be conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council at 6:00 p.m.
