Arthur Toscano
Entered to rest on August 28, 2025 at the age of 81 after battling pancreatic cancer. Born on April 4, 1944 in South San Francisco, California. Arthur is survived by his partner Shirley Enos; daughter Linda (Ken) Taylor, son Michael (Jamie) Toscano; grandchildren Nicholas Taylor, Jordyn, Rylan, Kylie and Maverick Toscano; former spouses Marsha Andrea Toscano and Barbara Toscano; as well as many nieces/nephews and cousins. Arthur is predeceased by his parents Jose Isabel and Concepcion Toscano and siblings, Jesse Toscano, William Toscano, Edward Toscano and Esther Chacon.
Arthur will deeply be missed and remembered fondly by his siblings, Belia Rennels (Don), Beatrice Contreras (Jose), Elvira Rios (Jose) Betty Sandin (Terry) and Rene Toscano.
After graduating high school Arthur served in the United States Marine Corp. Arthur was a police officer for the City of South San Francisco police until he relocated to Santa Rosa and retired from the Santa Rosa Police Department in 2001.
During Arthur’s retirement he enjoyed taking road trips to travel the country, going on cruises, gardening, ballroom dancing, spending time with his beloved dogs Jules and Sheba. Arthur enjoyed taking his grandchildren on a yearly day trip to Santa Cruz during the summers.
Arthur will be missed dearly by his lifelong childhood friend James Mickey (Carla).
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Monday, October 6, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Garden Chapel, 885 El Camino Real, South San Francisco, CA.
