Arthur Thomas “A.T.” Jordan was born on October 30, 1951, and passed away at home peacefully surrounded by family on September 4, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Ray Jordan, Sr., his mother, Helen Cawthon Jordan, as well as his brother-in-law James Horace “Jimmy” Stewart, all of Petal.

He leaves behind his devoted wife of 55 years Brenda Rollin Jordan, in addition to four daughters – Dorie (Jeff) Hamilton of Richton, MS, Shira (Jesse) Hahn of Vancleave, MS, Scarlett (Steve) Roberts of Petal, MS, and Allison (Steve) McLeod of Petal, MS.

Mr. Jordan also leaves behind 11 grandchildren – Lakin (Ryan) Culp, Chandler (Russell) Merrill, Blake (Mallory) Roberts, Landon Hamilton, Dallas (Logan) Smith, Dylan Bybee, Kane Roberts, Bailey Hahn, Shelby (Blaze) Lewis, Logan Hahn, Alexis Roberts, and 7 great-grandchildren.

Other surviving family includes his siblings – Carolyn Stewart of Richton, MS, Emily (Danny) Franklin of Petal, MS, Ray (Linda) Jordan of Richton, MS, and Jeffery (Doris) Jordan of Petal, MS.

He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that will miss him dearly.

Mr. Jordan retired from Jordan Brothers Plumbing after working there for many years. He was very well respected by his peers in the plumbing industry. After retirement, he and Brenda loved spending time with their children and grandchildren, and going on trips with his siblings.

A.T. will be remembered for his devotion to family, his strong work ethic, and the joy he brought to everyone who knew him. His legacy will live on in the hearts, stories, and traditions of those he loved.
