Angie Gonzalez

Angie Gail Gonzalez, age 48, of Ronda, passed away on Sunday October 5, 2025 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin.

Angie was born on March 22, 1977 in Wilkes County to Rex Ashley and Vonda Waddell Ashley.

In addition to her father, those left to cherish her memory are her husband Daniel Chavez of the home; two sons Daniel (Cameron) Gonzalez and Danny Gonzalez both of Ronda; a sister Tina Ashley of Ronda; one grandchild Malia Gonzalez; a special niece Skye Ashley; and special friends Sandra Combs and Bradley Combs.

A funeral service for Angie will be held on Thursday October 9, 2025 at 2pm at Johnson Funeral Home with the Pastor Shonnie Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Ronda City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1pm-2pm on Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
