Angel Prieto Rodriguez
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Angel Prieto Rodriguez, age 57, who passed away on July 14, 2025. He was born on October 30, 1967, in San Miguel Epejan, Michoacán, Mexico, and spent most of his life in Phoenix, Arizona.
Angel was the proud owner of a landscaping business and had a deep love for music. A talented singer, he even recorded an album, sharing his voice with those around him. He was actively involved with St. Vincent de Paul. Known for his humor and lively spirit, Angel enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.
He was married to Elvia Guerrero for 30 years, and together they raised children and stepchildren. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
A viewing will be held on Monday, July 29, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Messinger Funeral Home in Scottsdale, Arizona. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Phoenix, Arizona, with burial to follow.
Angel will be remembered for his warm heart, joyful laughter, and the love he shared with everyone who knew him.

Con profundo pesar, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Angel Prieto Rodríguez, de 57 años, quien partió el 14 de julio de 2025. Nació el 30 de octubre de 1967 en San Miguel Epejan, Michoacán, México, y pasó la mayor parte de su vida en Phoenix, Arizona.
Angel fue orgulloso propietario de un negocio de jardinería y tenía un gran amor por la música. Cantante talentoso, incluso grabó un álbum, compartiendo su voz con quienes lo rodeaban. Participó activamente en St. Vincent de Paul. Conocido por su sentido del humor y espíritu alegre, disfrutaba viajar y pasar tiempo con su familia.
Estuvo casado con Elvia Guerrero durante 30 años, y juntos criaron a sus hijos e hijastros. También deja muchos sobrinos, sobrinas y amigos que siempre recordarán con cariño su memoria.
La velación se llevará a cabo el lunes 29 de julio de 2025, de 6:00 PM a 9:00 PM en Messinger Funeral Home en Scottsdale, Arizona. La misa funeral se celebrará el martes 30 de julio de 2025 a las 10:00 AM en la Iglesia Católica Inmaculado Corazón de María en Phoenix, Arizona, seguida del entierro.
Angel será recordado por su corazón cálido, su alegre risa y el amor que compartió con todos los que lo conocieron.
