Amy K. Todres, PhD, 67, of Princeton, NJ passed away on November 15, 2023 with her loving family by her side. She was born in Neptune, NJ and settled in Princeton after she received her Doctorate of Cognitive Psychology from Princeton University in 1981. She spent her successful business and consulting career at companies including BellCore, Telcordia, SAIC, and Engility. Amy met her husband Eike Barthel, the love of her life, in Germany and were married in 1992. She loved family and friends, traveling, camping and to take adventures. She was an avid biker, swimmer, runner, walker, and voracious reader.
Predeceased by her parents Simon and Lenore (Konvitz) Todres; sister Shelley Nussbaum; and uncles Myles Turtz and Fred Grayer. She is survived by her husband Eike; sister and brother-in-law Wendy and Gregg Winik and their children Max (Ruby), Bari, and Zachary; brother and sister-in-law Benjamin and Leah Todres and their children Samantha and George; brother-in-law Peter Nussbaum and his children Jesse (Kevin), Jayme (Jay), and Marjorie; aunts Miriam Turtz and Jacqueline Grayer; cousins Alan, Lisa, Michael, Rebecca, Joanna, and Julia; Eike’s daughter and husband Katrin and Simon Oppmann and grandchildren Julius and Linus, and Eike’s sister Uta Runyan.
A private service was held at Princeton Cemetery Friday. Arrangements are under the direction of Star of David Memorial Chapel of Princeton, NJ.
