Alicia Gutierrez

Alicia Gutierrez (nee Peinado), 88, cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 15, 2025. She was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Roque (deceased) and Elena Peinado (deceased). She was married to Antonio who passed away on December 30, 2015.

She is survived by her daughters, Luz Elena; spouse, Emilio Quintos and Alicia; spouse Marsha Jones; sons Jose Antonio and Juan Ignacio; grandchildren, Luz Elena, Yadira Iveth, Geoffrey Yuas, Jacob Yunas, Anthony Michael, Jordan Alexander, Jaeda Celine, Jennah Natalie; great grandson, Sebastian Bernardo; brothers Armando de Jesus and Lino Salvador; sister, Maria Engracia; and many nieces and nephews. Sister of the late Federico Roque, Maria de la Luz, and Joaquina Elena.

We would like to extend a thank you to all the doctors, nurses, cnas at the University of Chicago Hospital who took exceptional care of our mother. Our heartfelt thanks go to Dr. Ajit Kesani for his treatment of our mother, and to the dedicated staff at Fresenius Kidney Care Humboldt Park.

Alicia’s passing deeply affects all her family and countless others who loved her. Her family is grateful for all the thoughts, prayers, and support received. May she rest in peace.
