VIENNA – Alan W. Sippola went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, one day before his 74th birthday. He was born September 18, 1951 in Conneaut, the son of Wesley and Eileen (Abbuhl) Sippola.
Alan graduated from Pymatuning Valley High School and retired after many years as a telephone lineman, first with United Telephone, and later as a subcontractor. Alan was made for the outdoors, not only in his day job, but also in the many hours he spent fishing, especially in Pymatuning Lake and Mosquito Lake. Even when his health declined, he would go for long walks, rain or shine, heat or cold. He loved to go exploring close to home and was famous for his one-day trips. He cherished his time with his grandson.
Precious memories of Alan live on with his father, Wesley Sippola of Hermitage, Pennsylvania; his beloved wife of twenty-nine years, Lucinda “Cindi” Sippola, whom he married February 16, 1996; four children: Jason Sippola (Susan) of Sharpsville, Pennsylvania, Alvin Willaman (Amanda Whitacre) of Ocala, Florida, Ashley Morris (Jay) of Howland, and Alyssa Sippola (Adam Knorr) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and three grandchildren: Hannah Sippola, Zachary Sippola, and Lincoln Morris.
His mother, Elieen Sippola, precedes him in death.
According to his wishes, Alan’s life will be celebrated with a gathering of family and friends at a later date. To honor his remarkable life, do a good deed for someone, and remember Alan and his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.
Arrangements are entrusted to Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road NE, Warren, Ohio 44483, 330-394-6200. Dedicated To Serving Your Loved Ones. This obituary may be viewed and condolences sent to www.statonborowskifuneralhome.com .
