Frances E. Salvo

Frances E. Salvo, 89, of Springfield died at 8:28 pm, Thursday, September 2, 2021 at St. John’s Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born November 19, 1931 in Chicago to Anthony and Maria Grace (Onofrio) Randazzo. She married Charles P. Salvo on April 25, 1954.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Salvo of Springfield; four children, Vincent Salvo of Springfield, Carla Salvo of Chicago, Anthony Salvo of Springfield and Charlie (Pam) Salvo of Overland Park, KS; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Frank Randazzo.

Frances was a member of Christ the King Church. She previously worked for the Springfield Treasurer’s office and was also a homemaker.

Visitation: 9 – 11 am, Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Christ the King Church.

Funeral Mass: 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Christ the King Church with Reverend Christopher House officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
