Daniel Lee Espenschied

Daniel L. Espenschied, 80, of Dover, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021 in Community Hospice Truman House at New Philadelphia, following a brief illness.

Born in Dover, he was the son of the late Roy and Edna (Holderbaum) Espenschied. After receiving a degree in Electrical Engineering, he began working for NASA at Cape Canaveral in Florida and retired after over 30 years of employment and working on a number of rocket and missile programs.

Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Carol Espenschied of Dover.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 1 PM in Dover Burial Park at Dover with Pastor Brian Flood officiating. The Geib Funeral Center and Crematory at Dover has been entrusted with the service arrangements.
