Veronica Lopez Gonzalez

Veronica attended cosmetology college. She loved cumbia, especially dancing!  Her family will miss her homecooked meals; her pozole was delicious. Veronica created a tradition for everyone to sit down at the dinner table together to enjoy a meal and follow up with watching the evening news as a family. Spending time together was important to Veronica. She loved her family more than anything.

Left to cherish Veronica’s memory are her children, Martha Karen Lopez, Derek Emmanuel Lopez and Leithan Anthony Lopez of East Flat Rock, NC; a sister, Sandra Lopez Gonzalez of Hendersonville, NC; and a brother, Francisco Lopez Gonzalez of Mexico City, Mexico.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Friday, May 7th, 2021with Pastor Joel Garcia officiating; a visitation will be held one hour prior.

The Gonzalez family were emotionally and financially unprepared to deal with this loss. Friends of the family are asking for your support to contribute to Veronica’s memorial fund so that her loved ones will have the resources necessary to deal with some of the financial burdens which they will certainly face in the upcoming weeks and months ahead.
