Donnie Sue Primavera
Donnie Sue Smith Primavera, 82, of TX, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022, in Plano, Texas.
Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M., January 6, 2023, at the Wiley Funeral Home, 400 Highway 377 East, in Granbury, Texas.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 3:00 P.M., on Saturday, January 6, 2023, at the funeral home followed by a graveside committal service at Acton Cemetery in Acton, Texas.
Donnie was born on January 10, 1940, in Alabama, to Alva Oran and Ida Mae Smith. She started her own family in Chattanooga, TN after having met the father of her children, Larry Primavera. Having a love of children, she was an Early Childhood teacher’s aide for over 15 years at various schools in the Granbury ISD system. Donnie will be remembered for her kind heart, generosity, sense of humor and devotion to family and friends.
Donnie is survived by her children, Tanya Primavera and Anthony “Tony” (Lupeta) Primavera; her grandchildren, Tristan (Gabby) Moore, Maison Moore, and Abbie Bella Moore; by two great-grandchildren, Peyton Moore and Cruz Lopez; and her siblings, Bobby Gas and Glen Smith.
In addition to her parents, Donnie was preceded in death by her siblings, Dorothy McBriar, Alvis Doris Dyer, Dan O. Smith, and D.J. Smith.
