Sharon Elaine Stroisch
Sharon Elaine Stroisch, 71, of Riverton, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022 at Jacksonville Skilled Nursing and Rehab. She was born July 16, 1951, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Leroy and Marjorie (Ralston) Riley. She married Thomas D. Stroisch on August 28, 1998 and he preceded her in death on April 27, 2018.
She is also preceded in death by her parents and son, Jefferson Stanton.
Survivors include her son, Lincoln (Wendy) Davis of Laurel, MT; two grandchildren, Cheyenna Davis and Ella Zamora; Aunt Donna; and cousins, Jo, Karen and Mary.
Sharon was a resident of Riverton since 1998, previously residing in Dawson and Mechanicsburg. She belonged to Riverton First United Methodist Church. She worked for Young’s Security Systems, retiring after many years of service. Sharon loved to read history, drama and mystery books and was an avid Elvis fan.
Visitation: 5 – 7 pm, Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.
Funeral Service: 10 am, Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield with Pastor Bobbi Blackard officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Riverton First United Methodist Church or Animal Protective League.
