Alan Henry Holt, 78, of Glenview passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 21, 2022. Beloved husband of Maureen. Loving father to Nicky (David) Stannard. Proud grand-father to Ben, Chloe and Will. Cherished family-in-law of Charles Irving and Ellen Rourke Stannard. He will be missed by many friends and family. Alan was born in England and his job with GKN as an automotive engineer brought him and his family to America via Detroit. He was an avid hockey fan, but his greatest joy was cheering on and supporting his dear grandchildren in all their endeavors. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 26 at 12:30pm at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 3535 Thornwood Ave, Glenview, IL 60026.
