Patricia “Pat L. Burton

Patricia “Pat” Burton, 63, of Lexington, Ohio passed away late Monday, January 31, 2022 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital after her battle with cancer. Pat was born January 18, 1959 in Mansfield, Ohio to David and Barbara Burton.

Pat worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator and retired in 2019 from Shelly and Sands. She enjoyed everything to do with cars from working on them to driving them as fast as she could. She also enjoyed football and NASCAR, but most of all she loved being with her family.

She is survived by her wife of 24 years, Sandi Hummel; brother, Michael (Linda); sister, Dianna; nieces, Tiffany (Matt) and Loretta; nephews, Michael, Mark and Wayne; great-nieces, Kailynn (Kyle) and Abby; great-nephew, Jonathan; great-great-niece, Harper; and many other special friends who were like family to her.

Pat was preceded in death by both parents; an older sister, Connie; and an infant brother, David.

A celebration of life will held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.
