Reminder: Carson City Aquatic Facility to close in December for maintenance

The Carson City Aquatic Facility will be temporarily closed from Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, through Sunday, Dec. 28, 2025, to complete necessary repairs on the plumbing infrastructure of the facility as well as replace vital pieces of the main pool filtration equipment.
All areas of the Carson Aquatic Facility will be closed, including the fitness center, locker rooms, and showers, as the main water will be shut down during the maintenance closure.
The Carson Aquatic Facility is reaching the end of the lifespan of several pieces of infrastructure, facilitating replacement or repair of these assets. Carson City is striving to repair and replace major infrastructure needs citywide, thus prolonging the useful life of important community resources.
The front desk will remain open during repairs to facilitate registration for any parks and recreation programs, which includes rifle range passes Monday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., or visit the Multi-Purpose Athletic Center at 1860 Russell Way, Carson City, Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
