Athanasios J. Ziaziaris

Athanasios J. Ziaziaris, born in Levidi, Arkadias, Greece, passed away on January 26, 2022 at age 89. Beloved husband of the late Anastasia A. Ziaziaris, nee Paziotopoulo. Loving mother of Marina and John (Diana) Ziaziaris. Adoring Pappou of Melanie Anastasia Ziaziaris, who he was extremely proud of and loved immensely. He is also survived by his siblings Bill (Giannoula) Ziaziaris and Alexandra (the late Bill) Bouzounnis. He was preceded in death by his parents and seven beloved siblings. He will be greatly missed by his many relatives in Sydney, Australia and Greece. Athanasios was very kind, caring and compassionate. He was always generous and giving of his time and talents as an electrician in the community. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church 2727 W. Winona St. Chicago, IL 60625 are appreciated. Visitation Friday, February 4th at St. Demetrios from 9:00 AM until time of funeral service at 10:00 AM. Interment at Rosehill Cemetery.
