Patricia Edmonson

Patricia Edmonson, age 81, of Irvine, Kentucky, widow of Robert Owen Edmonson, passed away on September 4, 2025.

Born in Irvine to the late Hubert and Myrtle Murphy, Patricia was a lifelong resident of Estill County. She dedicated 39 years of service to Carhartt before her retirement, earning the respect and friendship of many.

She is survived by her loving son, Robert Wayne Edmonson (Ann) of Springfield, KY; and two brothers, Scotty Murphy and Kennith Murphy, both of Irvine. Patricia was preceded in death by six sisters and three brothers.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 12:00PM at Lewis Funeral Home in Irvine, officiated by Bro. Mickey Hardy. Burial will follow in Rice Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Kerby, Darrin Wilson, Kevin Edmonson, Farris Glen Marcum, Kendall Murphy, and Logan Mize.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at Lewis Funeral Home.
