Richard Hunt

Richard Hunt, age 66, left us peacefully on September 14, 2025 in Prescott, Arizona.

Richard was a free spirit and lived life his way. He rode bulls in his younger days and also enjoyed riding motorcycles into adulthood. Harleys and Indians were his favorite. Richard worked for the Santa Fe railroad for about 8 years and spent most of his adult life driving trucks. Growing up he assisted his father on the farm on Leupe Road, pulling weeds, driving the tractor, and selling ears of corn.

Richard is survived by his daughter Sierra Ackerman (Ryan), his sister Leslie Brewer (Charlie) his brother in law. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Sheldon and Dorothy Hunt. He will be deeply missed by his family and the countless friends that he considered family.
