Fran later married Lonnie Harris on February 7, 1987, and he preceded her in death on December 5, 1992.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, and one granddaughter, Amanda Garman Landers on January 25, 2025.

In addition to her three children, Fran is survived by five grandchildren, Andi (Jason Berning) Garman of Naples, FL, Emily (Rick) Emery of Greenville, NC, Ashlee (Scott) Polen of Wilmington, NC, Missy (Victoria) Holst of Lehigh Acres, FL, and Dawn Ann (Mike) Pricer of Newtown, IL; twelve great-grandchildren, Zachary (Misty Watson) Garman, Baylea (Kyle Peters) Hasbargen, Blaine and Chaz Landers, Mary Ella Polen, Richie and Sofia Emery, Zane LaBonte, Reid and Jacob Pricer, Whitney (Riley) Jones, and Madison (Austin) Reffett; and six great-great-grandchildren, Anna Lucas, Leyton Peters, Owen and Noah Jones, and Gatlen and Lynna Reffett. She is also survived by a very special caregiver, Misty Watson, whom she loved like a daughter; and also survived by her constant companion, her dog, Bella, who she loved better than her children, because in her words, Bella doesn’t talk back like kids do.

Fran worked for several years at the Coachman in Rossville, and the VFW in Hoopeston. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Cremation rites will be accorded, and a graveside service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 26, 2025 at Floral Hill Cemetery in Hoopeston, IL with Larry Baughn officiating.
