Charles Raymond Vanderpool Jr.
Charles Raymond “Whitey” Vanderpool Jr., 48 of Prestonsburg, KY, passed away October 8, 2025 at UK Medical Center. Born March 22, 1977 in Shelby, OH, he was the son of the late Charles Raymond Vanderpool Sr. & Stella Mae Green. Charles is survived by his wife, Stephanie Prater Vanderpool. He was a carpenter. Charles is survived by his children: Charles Tyler “Worm” Vanderpool of Prestonsburg, KY, Jordon Hunter of Milford, OH, Cody Johnson of Knott Co. KY, Brittany Osborne of McDowell, KY & Samanta Howell of KY; step grandchildren: Josh Rudder of Lake Eddins, MS & Ashley Triplett of Printer, KY; special grandchildren: Jaxton & Colton; Daughter at Heart; Melinda (Bo) Craft; a host of grandchildren; brothers & sisters: Bill (Tonya) Conley of Martin, KY, Harold (Angie) Conley of Langley, KY, Della Faye Conley of Salt Lick, KY and Lora Vanderpool of Prestonsburg, KY. Along with parents, Charles was preceded in death by one stepson: Dylan Rudder: Brother: Stevie Conley. Charles will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held Sunday (October 12, 2025) at the funeral home with Bo Craft & Dave Bowling officiating. Burial will follow in the Terry Cemetery, Quicksand, KY
