William Loewen

With sadness we announce the passing of our Dad, William “Bill” LOEWEN. Peacefully with his children by his side on Sunday, July 27, 2025 in Thompson Manitoba.

William “Bill“ Loewen born on December 21, 1966 in Melfort, Saskatchewan.

Bill was predeceased by his parents, Abe & Kathy Loewen of Melfort, Saskatchewan. His mother-in-law Marguerite Burt, and his mother and father-in-law Inge & Siegfried Christians.

Bill will lovingly be remembered by his children, Toni Burt (Garrick), Jenny Cameron (Tyler), and Kyle Loewen (Alyssa). His grandchildren, Olivia Hayduk, Brody & Jake Cameron, and Parker Loewen. Also by his sister Liz Klotz (Tony), as well as by his brothers both near and far, and brothers forged in friendship. By his parents, Bob and Sylvia. His father-in-law Pearce Burt (Elsie). Also lovingly remembered by Darlene and Kim, as well as his brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Beloved father and grandfather, our Dad and Poppy will be remembered for his love for his family, storytelling, adventurous spirit, his love of the outdoors, and his kind courageous heart. He is deeply missed by all.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a private celebration of life at a later date.
