John Nelson

John David Nelson, 52, of Cleveland and formerly of Cameron, died Wednesday, August 27, 2025 in Trinity, Tx. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday, September 8, 2025 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron. Burial will follow in Hernandez Cemetery in Cameron.

John was born June 29, 1973 in Houston to David and Lois (Chamblis) Nelson. He married Basilia (Reyes) on January 10, 1994. He was working for H2O Innovations at the time of his death. John was a member of Kingwood Bible Church where he was a youth Sunday School teacher. John was a very active in the Milam Community Theater before moving to Cleveland. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Faith Reagan Nelson in 2003. He is survived by:
