Pamela Henson, lovingly known to all as Pam, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025, at Kathy Hospice in West Bend, just shy of her 82nd birthday.
Born on September 14, 1943, in Milwaukee, Pam was the daughter of Delores (Dettman) and Theodore Schoening. She brought warmth, laughter, and an unmistakable energy to everyone who knew her.
She was the proud mother of her son Greg Nass and the endlessly devoted grandmother to Emily (Steve), Alyssa (Barry), and Rachel (Jacky). She is also survived by her cherished niece, Shelly (Renny). Pam was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Henson, and her sister, Lisa Stadler-affectionately known in the family as “Auntie Bobbie.”
Pam was a true original. Affectionately dubbed “the crazy cat lady,” her love for animals-especially cats-was only rivaled by her love of good food and a great shopping trip. Her sense of humor, big heart, and ability to find joy in the little things made her unforgettable. Whether she was sharing stories over a plate of her favorite meal or hitting the shops with relentless enthusiasm, Pam embraced life with a spirit that inspired those around her.
A visitation will be held at Shimon Funeral Home in Hartford on Friday, September 12th, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A burial service will follow on Saturday, September 13th at 10:00 AM at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hartford.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Horizon hospice staff at Kathy Hospice for their compassionate and loving care during Pam’s final days.
Pam will be dearly missed and forever remembered for the laughter she brought, the love she gave, and the unforgettable memories she created with family and friends.
