Larry Beers

Larry Earl Beers Sr., 65, of Boone, Iowa, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025. He was born on November 16, 1959, in Boone, Iowa, the son of Robert and Elizabeth (Sinclair) Beers.

Larry was a proud union millwright with over 30 years of hard work under his belt. He spent 20 years in Toledo, Ohio, and later 10 years in Lima, making a name for himself as someone you could always count on.

Larry wasn’t just known for his skills on the job; he was also known to be funny, quick with a joke, and always up for hanging out with his friends. Whether it was swapping stories, sharing a laugh, or just enjoying good company, Larry made sure to live life with a sense of humor and heart.

He is survived by his two sons, Larry Jr. and Robert Lewis, and his sister, Betty Stanfield.

Larry will be remembered not only as a hardworking man but also as someone who brought light and laughter to those around him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the chance to know him.
