Alicia Ramón was born in 1942, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on September 1, 2025, in Ocoee, Florida.
Alicia’s life was a labor of love, so it is fitting that she left this world on Labor Day. Her wisdom, sense of humor—and delicious cooking—brought solace and joy to many people around the world.
Alicia joined the spiritual path of Cafh in the early 1960s, subsequently entering a community of women dedicated to good works and education. She was instrumental in founding preschools in California and New York. She was a founder and director of The Seed Day Care Center in Yorktown Heights, New York, in 1980, and was closely associated with The Seed ever since. The Seed owes much of its success to Alicia’s original vision and hard work.
Alicia worked with many groups and individuals in Cafh worldwide. She was a driving force for the inclusion of women in positions of importance in the path.
Alicia will be remembered for her compassion and generosity to those around her, including the nurses and aides who cared for her at the end. Her final days were filled with reflection and prayer, especially for families and children who need food.
