Mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother was called home to be with the Lord on Monday September 15, 2025 at the age of 99. Elaine was born March 2, 1926, in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Delbert and Mary (Barror) McMall. She married Herbert G. Miner on April 12, 1944. He predeceased her in 2006. They enjoyed 62 years of marriage together.

Elaine was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She and Herb attained Shrine Hillbilly degree and spent much of their time with the Elf Khurafeh Arab Patrol. She also enjoyed travel, bowling, knitting, crocheting, macrame, card playing, playing left-right-center and occasional trips to the casino. Elaine managed Evenknit stores in Saginaw. She was a member of Countryside Trinity Presbyterian Church.

One sister: Rosemary McLeod, two brothers: Donald McMall and Duaine McMall, one grandson: Jason Martin and one step-grandson: Thomas P. McFarland also predeceased Elaine.

Elaine is survived by her three children: Janie Miner, Kenneth (Jane) Miner and Sally (Mitchell) Martin; six grandchildren: Scott (Micky) Gale, Sean (Theresa) Gale, Ronald (Kristie Lynn) Miner, Amy (Scott) Metiva, Laura (McCoy) Green, William (Megan) Miner, two step-grandchildren: Scott (Nikole) McFarland, Jeff (Angela) McFarland, 16 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Great Lakes Pace, Faith & Family Home Help Service and A&D Hospice Care for their exceptional care, love, and comfort they provided to Elaine.

Funeral services will be held at Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N Center, Saginaw, Michigan at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday September 23, 2025. Pastor Nathanial Asperger of Countryside Trinity Presbyterian Church will officiate.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday September 22, 2025 at the Snow Funeral Home  and again on Tuesday September 23, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Nathanial Asperger of Countryside Trinity Presbyterian Church will officiate.
