Dolores Buckley

Dolores Buckley, 94, of Tinley Park, Illinois died peacefully on September 22, 2025. She was born January 17, 1931, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Michael and Ellen Phelan Ryan.

Dolores’ life was centered around her beloved family—first, as one of 12, now predeceased siblings, Julia, Helen, Margaret, Florence, Thomas, Anastasia, Evelyn, John, Loretta, Theresa, and Gerry, and later as a devoted mother and grandmother. She treasured time with her family above all else and was a consistent, reliable, and compassionate source of support and love. Dolores was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching The Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, where she was quick to the answer, and immersing herself in a good period drama.

She is survived by her daughters Mary Ellen (Ken) George, Kathleen (Bob) LoBianco, and Maureen (Dan) Norman as well as cherished grandchildren: Kenny George, Erin George, Nicholas LoBianco, Claire LoBianco (Sean Cullen), Katy Norman (Rob Bierman), and Ellie Norman. She is also survived by two great grandchildren, special nieces Therese and Ann, and many extended family members.
