Nancy Burke

Nancy “Nanny” Burke (née Borowski), 69, of Jersey City, passed away on August 18, 2025. She was born on March 20, 1956, in Jersey City, where she lived her entire life surrounded by family.

Nancy dedicated 15 years of her life working at the A&T Restaurant, where she was known not only for her hard work but also for her warmth and kindness toward everyone she met. She was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone in need -always ready to help, always ready to give.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Vincent; her son, Eugene; her parents, Edmund, and Georgianna; her sister, Barbara; and her brothers Walter, George, Patrick, and James .

Nancy is survived by her loving sister Maryann, and her brothers Edward and John, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews who will carry her memories in their hearts.

Those who knew Nancy will always remember her as a kindhearted, generous soul who placed others before herself. Her love, compassion, and spirit will live on in all the lives she touched.
