Maureen Stelter

Maureen Ione (Finses) Stelter, 90, of Stanley, WI., passed away peacefully Saturday, August 9th 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Maureen was born October 30th, 1934 to Elling and Blanche (Lee) Finses.

She loved spending time with her family and her companion- Patches (her cat.) She enjoyed watching old westerns and going for walks.

Maureen is survived by her children- Terry Stelter of Stanley, Gary (Wendy) Stelter of Stanley, Ty Stelter of Stanley, Mark Stelter of Eau Claire, and Penny Stelter of Chippewa Falls; son-in-law- Gary Miller of Stanley; 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father- Elling Finses; daughter- Paulette Miller; son- Ricky Stelter; grandson- Scott Miller; and her sister- Joyce

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm of Thursday, August 14th, 2025 at Borton-Leiser funeral Home in Cornell, WI. The visitation will begin at 11:00am and go until the start of service at 1:00pm.
