Beverly Townsend

Beverly was born August 2, 1954, to the late John Henry and Mary Frances Terrell. She was the sixth child and the youngest daughter. She ended this life on August 9, 2025, at The Blossoms at North Little Rock Rehab & Nursing Center.

Born and raised in Marion County, Mississippi, she completed her schooling there as well. She graduated from Columbia High School in May of 1972.

Beverly joined in holy matrimony on March 26, 1981, to Leotis Townend in Los Angles, California. They were married for 43 years until his untimely death on August 25, 2024. She also was proceeded in death by her parents, John Henry & Mary Frances Terrell, and her brother, James (Freddie) Terrell.

She is survived and cherished by her brother Bishop (Penny) Terrell of Little Rock, AR; Four Sisters: Shirley Lenoir of Tylertown, MS, Elnora Sipp of Youngstown, Ohio, Diane Gray of Jacksonville, AR, and Marcy (Mozell) Aultman of Oak Vale, MS. A devoted and loving niece Yvette Aultman of North Little Rock, AR, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
