Edward Lee Wallace, 85 passed away peacefully November 30, 2021 at his son’s home in Granbury, Texas. He was born December 17, 1935 and was raised in Ranger, Texas. He was a welder and construction engineer for several oil and gas companies for many years of his life, traveling to many countries before retiring to Strawn, Texas where he settled in his later years with his wife of 38 years, Carol Sue Wallace before her passing December 7, 2008.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Edward and Grace Edna of Ranger, Texas.
He is survived by his children, Belinda Morgan and Husband Steven of Eastland, Texas, Caren Alvis and Husband, James of Springtown, Texas, Hank Morgan and Wife, Bridget of Granbury, Texas, Bobby Wallace of Graham, Texas, Joanna Barron and Husband, Jeremy of Weatherford, Texas and “Adopted” son, Col David Lujan and Wife, Michel of Smithville, Virginia. He had 13 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren.
Graveside service will held at the family cemetery on his beloved homestead “Indian Creek Pond” south of Strawn, Texas on Friday December 3, 2021 @ 3:00 P.M.
