UPDATE: NHP dispatch phone lines open, state websites remain down

UPDATE MONDAY: NHP and the Nevada State Police Dispatch phone lines are working and are in service for incoming roadside emergency and assistance calls. For all other emergencies, please continue to call 9-1-1.

Administrative in-office and online services will not be available today, Monday, due to a statewide network issue.

On Monday morning the State of Nevada officials announced the state is continuing recovery from an early-morning network security incident. To minimize disruption while technical teams restore normal operations, state offices will temporarily pause in-person services Monday. During recovery, certain websites, online services, and office phone lines may be slow or briefly unavailable; 911 emergency call-taking remains available statewide.

The Governor’s Technology Office operates 24/7, and teams are actively restoring service in coordination with agency partners. Because we monitor systems around the clock, the public may see updates outside normal business hours.

The Nevada Department of Public Safety dps.nv.gov website is still down as the State of Nevada is continuing recovery from an early-morning network issue. Some state websites, online services, and office phone lines may be slow or briefly unavailable while work continues. The Governor’s Technology Office is actively working to restore service.

Nevada Highway Patrol and Nevada State Police dispatch phone lines statewide are currently down as of Sunday afternoon. For roadside emergencies, NHP advises to call 9-1-1 and request Nevada Highway Patrol emergency assistance.

The Nevada Department of Public Safety website (dps.nv.gov) is also currently down.
NDPS is working to resolve this issue and will provide updates as they become available.
