JoAnn McIntosh
JoAnn Catherine Sacco, of Lombard, Illinois, passed away peacefully on 8/13/2025 surrounded by her loved ones. JoAnn was born on April Eighth in Birnamwood, Wisconsin to Joseph J. Jesmere and Marcella M. Jesmere.
JoAnn enjoyed cooking, entertaining and gardening. She and her husband, George, had a love for travel. One of their favorite destinations being Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where they visited yearly for 30 years.
JoAnn was married to Timothy McIntosh for 11 years, and together they shared two children, Michael and Colleen.
JoAnn later found love again with George Sacco,whom they married in 1998. Their marriage brought together a blended family, including Stephen and Brittney. JoAnn cherished them as her own.
She was known for her sassiness, quick wit, and strength of fortitude. With an unwavering work ethic, JoAnn spent many decades working as a cosmetologist, enjoying her craft and the personal connections she gained through the span of her career.
JoAnn is survived by her husband, George Sacco; her children, Michael, Colleen (Joe), Stephen, Brittney (Eric): and her grandchildren, Nina, Gavin, Lexie. And many friends who became family. She was preceded in death by Joseph and Marcella Jesmere, and her sister Antoinette Hummel.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 9:30 AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 3:00 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.
