Inez Garney

Inez L. Garney passed away peacefully in Cabot, Arkansas on Thursday August 14th, 2025 after a protracted illness. Inez was born in Heber Springs on September 18th, 1943 to Howard L. Degler, Sr. and Nancy M. Kersey Degler. Inez lived most of her life in North Little Rock, where she served for 35 years as a nurse at the Veterans Administration.

Inez was a very loving, generous person whose passing is deeply felt by Bryan Garney (son), Silvia Garney (daughter-in-law), Isabel Garney (granddaughter), Matthew Garney (grandson), Danny Degler (brother), Gladys Robins (sister), Hazel Bryant (sister), Jane Bryant (sister), Norma Degler (sister-in-law), and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday August 18, 2025 at Olmstead Funeral Home, which is located at 601 W. Main Street in Heber Springs. Interment will follow at the Heber Springs Cemetery.
