Edith Anna Binegar

Edith Anna Binegar, 93, of Springfield, died on Friday December 18, 2020 at St. Josephs Home. She was born on March 25, 1927 in Vienna, Austria to Josef and Hedwig (Nechwatel) Schneider. She married Robert T. Binegar on February 5, 1948. Edith became a United States Citizen on September 5, 1951.

Edith is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

She is survived by her guardians, Robert and Mary Sneed of Springfield; close friends, Robert and Helma Appel of Chicago, and Candy Sergent of Rittman, Ohio.

Edith was an accountant of the Supreme Court. She loved playing cards, especially bridge. She also loved to travel.

Graveside Service: 10am Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Dan Stewart officiating.
