Mr. Dedrick C. Jones was born on August 28, 1976, to James and Ora Jones in Memphis, Tennessee. He was a product of Memphis City Schools (legacy). He was well-known in the Annesdale-Cherokee Community.

He loved to travel, going from state to state, visiting family. He enjoyed spending time with his children, nieces, nephews, and friends. He will be genuinely missed by all who knew and loved him.

Dedrick accepted Jesus as Lord of his life at an early age at Greater Prospect MBC. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ora Lee Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memory father, James Jones, Jr., four daughters, Oriana Jones, Olivia Franklin, Orlisha Franklin, Octavia Franklin; four sons, Devonte Franklin, D’Jaleen Drain, Dedrick Jones, Jr., Demarrion Franklin, one grandson, Karrie’s Drain. He also leaves four sisters; Beverly Hardaway of Memphis, Tennessee, Pastor Brenda Stewart of Houston, Texas, Dr. Fedora (Ba rry) Taylor, of Houston, Texas, and Carla (Stan) Bell of Memphis, Tennessee; three brothers, Willie James Jones of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Charles Small of Memphis, Schalando Ray (Meena Joshi) Jones, of Houston, Texas, Dedrick leaves a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
