Frank Akers

Frank “Dukie” Akers 56 of Little Robinson Creek passed from this earthly life Saturday June 14, 2025, at his residence.

Frank was born Wednesday August 14, 1968, in Pikeville, KY a son of David Jr and Daphine (Newsome) Akers.

Frank was preceded in death by his father David Jr Akers; one brother in law Bryan Borders; one great nephew Alexander Colt Linthicum and a great niece Angel Mae Thacker.

Frank is survived by his mother Daphine (Newsome) Akers of Little Robinson Creek; one brother Harvey Daniel Akers of Little Robinson Creek; three sisters Teresa Lynn Thacker (Ronnie) of Harless Creek, Dianna Brown (Ernie) of Little Robinson Creek and Katherine Borders of Little Robinson Creek; four nieces Kristy Collins, Kellie Borders, Ariel Murphy and Kassie Ward; six nephews Ronnie Wayne Thacker, Ernie Brown II, David Thacker, Christen Gale Brown, Brandon Lee Brown and Bryan J.D. Borders; along with a host of great nieces and nephews.

Frank leaves behind many other family and friends to mourn his passing.

Frank Dukie Akers will be sadly missed by all those that knew and loved him.
