Ronnie James

Ronnie “RJ” Eugene James 69 of Pikeville, KY passed from this earthly life Wednesday June 18, 2025 at his residence.

Ronnie was born Friday October 28, 1955, in Pike County, Kentucky a son of the late Ollie and Viola (Parsons) James.

Ronnie was a coal miner and member of the Gulnare Freewill Baptist Church.

Other than his parents Ronnie was preceded in death by two brothers Julius and Thomas James.

Ronnie is survived by his wife Brenda (Spears) James; two sons Brandon Eugene James and his wife Tiffany and Dustin Clint James and his wife Janice; two brothers Connie Dean and Vernon James all of Pikeville, Ky; three sisters Gertrude Collins of Pikeville, KY, Ann Cornett of London, KY and Geneva Mullins of Berea, Ky; and 5 grandchildren Zaiden, Kayleigh, Kimber, Tinsley and Branson James.

Ronnie leaves behind many other family and friends to mourn his passing.

Ronnie “RJ” Eugene James will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
