With profound sadness we announce the passing of an absolute staple in the Franklin County Community Mr. Bruford Flowers went home to be with the lord and we continue to lift his precious family in our thoughts and prayers. 

Bruford Allen Flowers

March 28, 1934 – June 17, 2025

Eastpoint, Florida

Bruford was born in Kinard, Florida, and moved to Eastpoint at the age of twelve. He graduated from Carabelle High School and married Annie Mae Braxton on July 19, 1953. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-nine years, Annie B. Flowers, his parents Henry and Inez Flowers, and sisters Rebecca Flowers and Lucille Youngblood.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Little Flowers, a sister, Boncile Richardson, a son, Dennis Flowers (Beverly), two daughters, Debbie Flowers and Deedre Golden (Charles), Pat and Jimmy McWhinnie, two grandchildren, Allen Flowers and Justin Golden (Crystal), and four great grandchildren, Jaden Golden, Cameron Golden, Shelby Flowers, and Emily Flowers. Extended family includes Alan Little, Tim Little (Connie), Scott Little, six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and sixteen great-great grandchildren.

Bruford was proprietor of the Red and White Food Store and owner of Flowers and Son Seafood. He was a member of Redemption Point Church of God and Woodmen of the World.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Redemption Point Church of God. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21,2025, at 11:00 am at Redemption Point Church of God, and officiated by Scott Shiver and Larry Sterling.

Bruford Flowers was a Godly man, a loving husband, father, and brother. He loved his community and was an inspiration to all who knew him.
