Yolanda Soto Dela Rosa, age 68, peacefully entered her eternal rest on April 9, 2021
at Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation of Granbury, Granbury, TX. Yolanda (Linda) was born on May 3, 1952 in Brownwood, TX to Jess M. Soto, Sr. and Emma Ragland Soto. She lived in Evans/Greeley, CO for approximately 40 years prior to returning to Brownwood, TX in 2017.
Yolanda was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers Ray Soto and Sammy Soto.
Yolanda’s smile, wittiness and infectious laugh spread joy and laughter to all who knew her. She was truly a beautiful soul. Yolanda was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Arthur Dela Rosa, Jr., Cecilio Benito Dela Rosa of Abilene, TX, Billy Ray Dela Rosa and grandson Arturo Dela Rosa III. Yolanda reared her beloved grandson Arturo. Also left to remember her are 14 additional grandchildren, Arthur Nathaniel Dela Rosa, Robert Jordan Dela Rosa, Christian Evonne Wells, Hector Alexander Dela Rosa, Marine Guadalupe Dela Rosa, Asbel Nahm Dela Rosa, Cecil B Dela Rosa, Jr., Sydnie Zene Dela Rosa, Thomas Jungi Dela Rosa, Jadrian Rene Dela Rosa, Damian Ray Alexander Dela Rosa, Alyssa Nicole Dela Rosa, Lezly Dela Rosa, and Naylhea Sofia Dela Rosa. Also, there are five great grandchildren, Aliyah Vasquez, Armani Dela Rosa, Jordan Dela Rosa, Remii Dela Rosa, and Amanda Dela Rosa.
Survivors also include her brothers, Jess M. Soto, Jr. (Dale Marie), of Brownwood, TX, Jimmie Soto (Sandy) of Arlington, TX, Roy Soto of Brownwood, TX, and her sisters Emma Lou Soto Maestas of Westminster, CO, and Mary Soto Salazar (Edward) of Tyler, TX.
The family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Encompass Hospice, covering Granbury, TX who helped her, with the help of Trinity Nursing staff, face her declining health issues with dignity and grace. She has been made whole in Heaven and reunited with her loved ones who awaited her.
The family has honored Yolanda’s request to be cremated. A celebration of her life with family and friends will take place at a later date in Brownwood, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Wiley Funeral Home.
