Willie J. Scott

Willie James Scott was born October 29, 1945, to the late Johnnie and Claude Mae Scott in Mobile, Alabama. He was one of 18 children named: Murry, Eddie, Ebenezer, Cassie Bell, Julia Mae, and Lizzie Mae all of which preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn the following siblings: Willie Lee Scott (Jesse James Scott (Pearliner), Johnnie Mae, Emma Lee, Joe Cleveland, Mary Lee, Randolph, Ernest, June, Juanita, Connie, and Brunetta.
Willie moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1967 where he met the love of his life, the late Barbara Jean.
He had a love for driving nice cars and he also loved to repair them. He carried on his love for repairing cars by opening his own auto repair shop, United Garage in Cleveland, Ohio.
Willie was a courageous, hardworking, and a generous person. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was so caring that he would give you his last dollar. He always made it a priority to make sure those around him was taken care of.
Willie loved watching old western and karate movies. He was a huge Bruce Lee fan and would often practice his technique after watching.
He leaves to carry on his legacy to his loving children, Willie James Taylor (Marguerite), Tyshaun Lavelle Cleveland (Arlene) and Michelle Shari Harris (James), and his grandchildren: Shanteesa Laniece Jefferson (Jermaine), Shadia Shaniece Taylor, Jonathan Cleveland, Skylarr Jewel Harris, and Naomi Cleveland, in addition to a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
