William Thomas Middleton

William Thomas Middleton, 66, of Mansfield, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. Born October 2, 1954 in Bellefonte, Kentucky, he was the son of William Edgar and Bonnie (Albright) Middleton.
William retired as a delivery driver for Jones Chips following 20 years of service. A movie buff, he enjoyed watching movies, he loved to read and listen to books in his car while driving and was a collector of stuff, ideas and people. William would give anyone the shirt off of his back and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his daughters, Amy (Julian) Wilson of Mansfield and Heidi Redinger of Jeromesville; his grandsons, Mogan Plas and Mason Plas; his mother, Bonnie Middleton; his brother and sisters, Charles (Barbara) Middleton of Mansfield, Regina Middleton (George Wilson) of Central City, Kentucky, Sharon (Charles) Hinds of Mansfield and Angela Middleton of Mansfield; special nieces and nephews, Latacia and LaSean Middleton, Amanda Middleton, John Duncan, Ron Fitch, Mary Alice Delafuente, Tony Delafuente and Ruben Delafuente; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; two nephews, Tony Middleton and Jason Schoolcraft; and a niece, Nicki Delafuente.
Friends may call from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2021 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 South Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
