William R. “Bill” Boots, 94, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, left to join his Lord on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022, at the Northbrook Manor Care Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Bill was born on Feb. 28, 1928, in Jamestown, N.Y. He was the second of seven children born to William and Iva Boots. Bill is survived by his wife of 66 years, Arlene of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Bill was a private man, accomplishing much in his life. Per Bill’s request they will continue to remain private in his death. There will be no services.
