Wayne Richard Burbridge, 73, of Delhi, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at MercyOne in Waterloo, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Manchester. Funeral Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at St. John Catholic Church in Delhi, with Deacon Roger Luensmann officiating. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Greeley, Iowa.

Wayne was born on November 11, 1950, in Manchester, Iowa, the son of John M. and Clara L. (Steffen) Burbridge. He attended school in Oneida and graduated from Maquoketa Valley High School Delhi, in 1968. Wayne married Deb Haren on November 27, 1971, in Delhi, Iowa. He enjoyed farming where he and Deb raised their family south of Greeley, attended church and helped usher, he loved all racing especially stock cars and would cruise around in his corvette. He spent much of his time with friends and family, having coffee, playing a game of cards or attending dances. His granddaughters were his pride and joy. He loved attending all their sports and teaching them to fish. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Wayne is survived by his children, Connie (Rusty) Feldman of Marshalltown, Iowa, John (Holly) Burbridge of Delhi; grandchildren, Ciara, Kyra, and Kennedy Feldman, Taryn, Audra, Quinn, and Lyza Burbridge; and his brothers, James (Susan) Burbridge and Dan Burbridge both of Delhi, and his sister, Mary K. (Tim) Breitbach of Colesburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Clara Burbridge; wife, Deb Burbridge; brother, Florian Burbridge; and his granddaughter Meg Burbridge.
