Wauline A. Quick, 74, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at St. John’s Hospital. She was born December 17, 1947, in Winslow, Maine, the daughter of John McKiniry and Beverly (Glidden) Austin. She married Clarence Martin Quick on January 21, 1967 and he preceded her in death August 11, 1998.
She is also preceded in death by her parents; son, Martin; and sister, Kathleen.
Survivors include her daughter, Wauline “Joy”; son, Robert “Bob”; sister, Sandra (Jerry); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Wauline was a resident of Springfield most her life. She belonged to Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was a member of Daughters of the Union Civil War, Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of 1812, Daughters of the Magna Carta, and Daughters of the Union Auxiliary.
Wauline worked as an at home daycare and preschool teacher for over 30 years. She enjoyed studying about genealogy, loved to watch old movies, and playing the piano.
Graveside Service: 10 am, Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Mark Estrop officiating.
