Watch the Celebration of Life ceremony for Carson City mayor Robert 'Bob' Crowell via livestream today at 1 p.m.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will get underway at 1 p.m. today, Thursday, for Carson City Mayor and native Nevadan Robert “Bob” Crowell.

On Wednesday, by executive order, Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak ordered the flags of the United States and the State of Nevada to be flown at half-staff at the State Capitol and State public buildings and grounds from sunrise until sunset on Thursday, October 29, 2020 as a mark of solemn respect and in remembrance of Crowell.

The Governor also issued a proclamation in honor of Mayor Crowell, naming October 29, 2020 a day in honor of Mayor Crowell.

The family asks for donations in Bob’s name to one of these non-profit organizations that were close to his heart: CIRCLES, Feeding Pets of the Homeless, and Muscle Powered, or any non-profit that you feel holds a special connection to Bob in lieu of flowers.
