Wanda Marie Rogers

Wanda Marie Rogers, 72, of Hendersonville, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.

Wanda was born on January 8, 1949, in Henderson County to the late Horace Goodlet Rogers and Ruth Lanning Rogers.  Wanda is also preceded in death by her sister, Margarite Rogers, and brothers, Dwain and Foy William Rogers.

Wanda was a member of Fruitland Methodist Church.  She loved going to church and singing in the choir.  Wanda loved spending time with her mother, accompanying her in activities like working in the yard.

Wanda is survived by her mother, Ruth Lanning Rogers; brother, Hoyle Rogers, sister, Ruby Jean Taylor (John), brother, Darius Rogers (Sandy), and sister, Gwendolyn Rogers; nieces and nephews, Carson Rogers, Carrie Wooldridge (Chris), Corey Rogers, Caleb Rogers (Maggie), Candace Rogers, and Carissa Rogers; and several other great-nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Lanning-Pittillo Cemetery in Hendersonville, NC on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 2:00PM with Rev. Karen Lawrence officiating.
